====Customer Master Upload====

When a new customer is created, or if a current customer's details get updated in Pastel, you need to export the data to the eApp. 

===Step 1:===

Go to the reporting system in Pastel. Select the folder **99 eApp**. Inside that folder there are two exports: **Contacts** and **Customer Export**.

===Step2:===

Click the applicable box next to either //**Contacts**// or //**Customer Export**// and click the Button named **Run**.

===Excel will open===

===Step 3:===

Save the Excel spreadsheet to your Desktop and name it either //**Customer_export.xls**// or //**Contacts.xls**//, whichever is applicable.

===Step 4:===

Go to the eApp and select **Master Data**. Then select **Customer Master Upload**.

===Step 5:===

* Either drag and drop the applicable file from your Desktop to the eApp 

**OR** 

* click on the drop area, which will open the file browser.

The file will upload and will update the customer's data.
